Educational Therapy & Tutoring Services

Therapeutic Executive Functioning & Academic Coaching

Today’s students face more complex demands than ever before—balancing academic expectations, social pressures, and a digital landscape that challenges attention, organization, and emotional regulation. I specialize in executive functioning (EF) coaching with a therapeutic approach, designed to support neurodiverse learners, students with ADD/ASD, and exceptional learners in developing the tools they need to thrive.

My work is deeply experiential and integrative, bridging executive function skill-building, literacy development, and holistic enrichment to ensure that learning is not just productive but personally meaningful.

My Approach

Every program begins with a comprehensive intake and discovery assessment, examining cognitive strengths, emotional needs, and environmental factors. From there, I create an individualized, research-based plan that aligns with the student’s academic needs while fostering confidence, independence, and intrinsic motivation.

I work beyond the traditional tutoring model—incorporating multi-sensory learning, art, music, movement, and nature-based interventions to engage each student fully. My approach is designed to reduce cognitive overwhelm, improve emotional regulation, and build sustainable learning habits that extend far beyond the classroom.

What to Expect:

✔ Executive Function Coaching – Personalized strategies for organization, time management, task initiation, sustained attention, and self-regulation

✔ Literacy & Academic Support – Evidence-based interventions for reading comprehension, written expression, and critical thinking

✔ Holistic Enrichment – Incorporating art, music, movement, and nature-based interventions to engage students in learning beyond worksheets and rote memorization

✔ Collaboration & Communication – I work closely with families, schools, and treatment teams to align strategies across home, school, and daily life

✔ Strength-Based & Trauma-Informed – Every session is student-centered, neurodiversity-affirming, and designed to foster resilience

How It Works:

📍 Available for in-person sessions (home, community spaces, workspaces) or virtually

Let’s build a learning experience that empowers your child’s unique mind <3

Steps within my process:

Phase One:

  • Schedule a free fifteen-minute consultation call & Book an initial discovery session

  • Completing parent intake form & Teacher insight forms and onboarding in our system

  • E-mailing neurological psych information, or other relevant testing information to Christina@EmPathLearning.com

    Phase Two

  • We hold our consultation call and learn more from you about the students’ learning profile.

  • We administer an “initial discovery assessment: which tests literacy functioning and executive functions, and determines how the child copes with their mental health.

  • We analyze data from assessment, conduct research and produce evidence-based strategies individually tailored to the needs of the student.

  • We develop a “Path plan” for the student, which is a concise report of suggested accommodations for remote learning, which can be used to help new teachers get to know your child. This document will illuminate the path to success, and inform program goals.

Phase Three

  • We hold a complementary 45-minute debrief conversation to go over program goals, assessment results, and your students’ “Path plan.”

  • We keep in touch regularly to ensure the student is empowered and the support grows and develops alongside the learner.
